Our deep draw process produces seamless cylinders with draw ratios up to 20:1 — length to diameter — at production scales matched by only a handful of manufacturers in the country. No welds. We manufacture seamless cylinders ranging from just a few inches in diameter to twelve inches.Components that, in some cases, are the size of a person. That size range is rare. Most deep draw manufacturers cap out well before we do, which is precisely why defense prime contractors come to us when standard suppliers can't meet their requirements.
Deep draw gets the form. CNC machining makes it functional. We perform secondary machining on cylinders and bar stock components — adding holes, threaded features, and precisely recessed surfaces to exact tolerances. We hold tight cylindricity requirements and critical surface tolerances on every part, so what leaves our floor is a finished, inspection-ready component.
In defense manufacturing, making a part right and proving a part is right are equally important. Our coordinate measuring machine (CMM) equipment measures complex GD&T requirements on cylindrical components with precision and generates the comprehensive inspection data packages that prime contractors and the Department of Defense require before a part ever moves down the supply chain. Every program starts with tooling we design and build ourselves; engineered in stages, across multiple die sets, to progressively form components to their final dimensions. What We Manufacture for Defense
Seamless Cylinders for Defense Applications
Our core capability is military deep draw manufacturing is the production of large-scale seamless cylinders used in projectile systems, launcher components, liners, and airborne electronics housings. The seamless construction is critical–any seam creates a potential point of failure, and in flight applications, that’s not acceptable. Our process produces components with exceptionally smooth surface finishes, holding to tight roughness specifications required by defense program drawings.
Deep Draw Stampings
We produce deep draw stampings in aluminum and other alloys for defense applications, working from customer drawings through our multi-stage tooling process. Our stamping capabilities extend well beyond what conventional stamping operations can achieve in terms of size and draw ratio.
Precision Machined Components
Our CNC machining centers handle secondary operations on drawn cylinders as well as components machined from bar stock. We produce machined parts to complex GD&T drawing requirements, supported by our CMM inspection equipment and full measurement reporting.
